Point of sale

A restaurant POS that shares one menu with everything else.

Most restaurants run a till from one company and online ordering from another, and type the menu into both. BrandOS is one system: the product you add once is on the counter till, the storefront, the kitchen screen and the stock ledger. BrandOS has a free plan, and the first paid plan is $9 a month.

What comes with the till

These are the platform’s own capability names — the same list a plan is built from and access is enforced against.

  • Point of sale

    The counter till.

  • Kitchen display

    The kitchen queue.

  • Inventory

    Stock balances and the ledger.

  • Promotions

    Discount codes and campaigns.

  • Advanced reports

    Operational and catalogue reporting.

One menu, entered once

A product added in the back office is immediately sellable at the till, on the storefront, at a QR table and on a self-service kiosk. There is no second catalogue to keep in step and no export step between them.

A branch can carry a different selection or a different price without a copy of the product being made. The branch states its own opinion; the brand keeps one record.

Counter till and touchscreen tills

The counter till is a keyboard-and-mouse register built for speed of entry. Alongside it there are three full-screen touch layouts for a tablet or a touch monitor, and a business picks which one its tills open.

They are screens over the same engine, not a second POS. Pricing, discounts, stock and payment run through one code path, so a promotion cannot behave one way at the counter and another way on the tablet.

What a cashier can and cannot do

Permissions are enforced by the server, not by hiding buttons. A cashier holds no discount authority unless the role grants it, and a branch manager sees only the branches they are scoped to.

Every order the till takes becomes an ordinary order: it reaches the kitchen queue, reserves stock, appears in reports and carries a timeline.

Payments

A payment is a recorded fact rather than a flag somebody sets. Cash, card, Easypaisa, JazzCash and other wallets can be recorded against an order, and a card can be taken through a connected reader.

There is no bundled payment provider and no commission taken on a sale. A business connects the provider it already uses, and a counter without a reader records the payment by hand.

Common questions

Does BrandOS have a POS?
Yes. BrandOS includes a point-of-sale till for the counter, and three full-screen touchscreen tills for tablet and touch-monitor hardware. Both price every order through the same engine the online storefront uses, so a discount or a promotion behaves identically at the counter and on the web.
Is there a touchscreen POS?
Yes. There are three touch layouts — a dense fast register, a moded command centre and a photographic layout with the ticket as a sheet — and a business chooses which one its tills use. Every touch target is at least 44 pixels.
Does the POS take card payments?
The till records cash, card, Easypaisa, JazzCash and other wallet payments, and can take a card through a connected card reader. No payment provider is bundled: a business connects its own, and a counter with no reader records the payment manually.
Does the POS work offline?
No. The till needs a connection, and this is deliberate — a terminal that took orders it could not send would hand out receipts nobody can honour. Unsent tickets can be parked at the till and picked back up.
Which plan includes the POS?
The point of sale is included in Growth and Scale.
