Cost
What a small restaurant actually pays.
Restaurant POS pricing is usually a conversation with a salesperson, a per-terminal licence and a percentage of every order. Here are the real numbers instead. The first paid plan is $9 a month.
The plans, at every billing period
Read live from the same records a subscription is assigned from — these are the prices, not an example of them.
| Plan | Monthly | Quarterly | 6 months | Yearly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | Free | Free | Free | Free |
| Growth | $9 | $25.50 | $48 | $89 |
| Scale | $19 | $54 | $101 | $189 |
What is not charged
No commission on orders taken through your own storefront. No per-terminal licence — the number of tills a branch runs is not a price. No setup fee, and no hardware to buy from the platform: the till, the kitchen screen and the kiosk all run in a browser on a device you already have.
What a business pays is its plan. Card processing, if a business connects a card reader, is charged by that payment provider and not by this platform.
Why a free plan exists
The free plan is a real plan, not a trial with a clock on it: A business profile the platform can list: menu, categories, hours and locations. No branded storefront.
It exists because a restaurant deciding whether to change systems should be able to see its own menu, hours and locations live in the directory before paying anything.
What "affordable" is not
It is not a claim to be the cheapest. This platform does not survey what every other product charges, so it will not tell you it beats them — the prices are on this page so you can compare them yourself.
It is also not a stripped-down product at a low price. The paid plans include the point of sale, the kitchen display, inventory, promotions and the storefront. What changes between plans is how many branches, staff and products, and which of the larger modules are open.
Common questions
- Does BrandOS have a free plan?
- Yes. Free costs nothing and includes A business profile the platform can list: menu, categories, hours and locations. No branded storefront. It is a plan rather than a trial — there is no expiry on it.
- How much does a restaurant POS cost here?
- The point of sale is included from the Growth plan at $9 a month, with longer billing periods costing less per month. There is no per-terminal charge and no commission on orders.
- Is it suitable for a small restaurant?
- Yes — a single location with a couple of staff is the size the lower plans are built around. Branch, staff and product ceilings are stated per plan, and going over one is refused with the number, not billed as an overage.
- Are there hidden costs?
- The plan price is what the platform charges. Card processing is charged by whichever payment provider a business connects, and a delivery marketplace charges its own commission on its own orders — neither of those is billed by this platform.
- Do I have to buy a terminal?
- No. Every surface runs in a browser — the till on a laptop or tablet, the kitchen display on a screen, the kiosk on a touch monitor. A card reader is optional and comes from your payment provider.
